How to Play
Movement
- Desktop: WASD or Arrow Keys to swim
- Mobile: Touch and drag in any direction
- Dash: Spacebar (requires Fin Flap upgrade)
Attacks
- Chomp (Melee): Left Click / Q key / Double Tap - Close range bite attack
- Bubble (Ranged): Right Click / E key / Single Tap - Shoots a bubble forward
- Hold to Attack: Hold attack keys for continuous attacks
Objective
Explore the underwater labyrinth, defeat enemies, collect power-ups, and find the exit. After clearing each stage, face a boss battle!
Power-Ups
- F - Fish Food: Restores 50 health
- FF - Larger Fish Food: Restores 100 health (Stage 3+)
- S - Sharpening Stone: +2 Chomp damage
- B - Air Bubble: +1 Bubble damage
Keys & Locked Doors
- K - Key: Unlocks locked doors (red with lock icon)
- Locked doors block passage until unlocked with a key
- Keys are consumed when used to unlock a door
- Unused keys are lost when completing a stage
- Locked doors appear as red indicators on the minimap
Mega Upgrades (One per attack type)
- T - Tooth Time: Enlarged chomp with increased range
- H - Hammer Head: Defensive shield with touch damage
- D - Death Dash: Dash forward with teeth all around
- W - Wave Belch: Larger wave attack replaces bubble
- G - Gas Bubble: AoE poison cloud behind you
- C - Circle Shot: Spiral bubble that travels far
Enemies
- Small/Large Fish: Chase and contact damage
- Crab: Ground patrol, throws rocks
- Jellyfish/Eel: Electric pulse AoE attack
- Clam: Stationary, rapid bubble attack
- Dolphin: Fast, lock-on chomp attack
- Turtle: Slow, but powerful spin attack
- Octopus: Platform jumper, mid-range stab
- Bird: Surface only, dives from air
- Urchin: Stationary, spike spray attack
- Small Shark: Chomp and spin attacks
- Manta Ray: Fast turns, tail stinger damage
- Seal: Hunts fish, shockwave attack
- Orca: Most dangerous - chomp, spin, and dash
Boss Battles
After clearing each stage, face one of three bosses:
- Large Shark: Chomp, spin, and dash attacks
- Pink Whale: Wave and tail spin attacks, shoots bubbles
- Giant Squid: Wave, urchin spray, spawns ink clouds
Tips
- Enemies heal if you leave the room without killing them
- Killed enemies stay dead until next stage
- The exit is always on an edge of the map (not the surface)
- The top row is the surface - your fish will flop if it jumps out!
- Sand lets you slide back to water, dirt bounces you away
- Collect floating pellets from defeated enemies
- Earn pellets to buy permanent upgrades between runs
- Bosses drop large pellet and score rewards
